обновил ios нормально, но при настройке:

....
ругается, что нет flash:/rom

ты залил на flash новый ИОС, а при загрузке он ругается, что не может найти flash ?

хуйня какая-то:
1.
на Ctrl-Pause(Break) реагирует перезагрузкой и потом опять грузится с флеша.
2.
Грузится в ром монитор только если выставить: config-register 0x0, а обычном способом не хочет.

Интересно, а как ты conf reg выставляешь, если ты загрузить циску не можешь?
все просто: загрузить циску могу. Тот вопрос был теоретическим.
У меня другая проблема - не могу войти в ром монитор. Если делаю config-register 0x0, тогда могу.

"ignores break" - так ведь написано, что вне зависимости от "ignores break in config-register" в течение 60 секунд после power circle циска реагирует на break.
У меня не реагирует. config-register = 0x2102

Каким терминалом пользуешься? У тебя точно Ctrl+Break шлет Break?
На Break циска по-любому должна реагировать выходом в rommon.

вываливается в ром монитор.
Видимо не вовремя нажимал Break.
Нажимал, когда циска пишет что грузиться будет с флешки. Соответственно циска уходила на перезагрузку и нужно было еще раз нажимать Break.

Вообще-то я жму до загрузки образа, а не в течение 60 сек.

Что делать, если субж произошел неудачно, а в циске нет boot rom-а ?
