Okay. I cannot update my old drivers which I got on the installation disk with my laptop. I've tried many versions offered by Nvidia but everytime the setup.exe refuses the installation with this message: 'setup can't find any compatible hardware for the drivers.'
Laptops need special drivers for their videos. You should get them at your laptop's manufacturer site.
The only mobile video card nVidia provides drivers for is GeForce Go 7800.

Looks like you setting up drivers that from other videocard.
You can get drivers to your laptop from manufacturer's site (i mean, manufacturer of laptop, not videocard)

May be in the sentence, not in the meaning
These drivers are compiled from different official nVidia Detonator packages and tuned quite a bit.
I patched my drivers and it worked but im still experiening choppy framerates. I mean I have a geforce go 6200 256mb pci express card...this shouldn't be happening. What other areas could be causing a problem on the software level.

ПриветЯ купил ноиый лаптоп и все нормальные кроме моего видиокарта. Драйверы видиокарта на диске установкы старые (73.70) поэтому игри работают плохо, но когда Я пытаюсь установить новые Win2KXP драйверы (81.95, 84.21 или 78.01) NVidia программа установкы каждый раз говорить что она ничего не нашла для моего видиокарта. новые Win2KXP драйверы которые Я исспользовал были загружаные от сайта NVidia поэтому Я знаю что драйверы дольжни работать.
Если у вас совет для меня Я бы был рад. Спасибо.
